Basement Water Damage After a Burst Supply Line
Before
AfterA corroded copper supply line let go on the second floor while the homeowner was at work. By the time they got home, water had run through the ceiling, down the walls, and into the finished basement. We extracted standing water within hours, pulled the wet drywall and carpet pad, and set up our Dri-Eaz and Phoenix drying systems with psychrometric monitoring, which just means we tracked temperature and RH (relative humidity) daily, so the wood and concrete reached true dryness before any rebuilding started. The finished basement now looks like the flood never happened, and the homeowner’s insurance claim was settled with the photo documentation our technicians captured from the first day.
Kitchen Mold Remediation After a Slow Dishwasher Leak
Before
AfterA slow supply-line drip behind the dishwasher had been feeding mold inside the cabinet toe-kick for months, and the homeowner only found it when the baseboard softened. We contained the work area with negative air pressure, removed the affected cabinets and drywall, and scrubbed the framing with professional-grade antimicrobials approved for mold remediation. After the framing tested clean, we rebuilt the cabinet box, installed new baseboard, and the kitchen went back together with no signs of the damp smell that had been creeping through the first floor.
Fire Damage Restoration in a Rental Apartment
Before
AfterA grease fire on the stove left the rental’s kitchen with heavy soot on every surface, a melted range hood, and that sharp burned smell that settles into paint and fabric. Our crew sealed off the kitchen from the rest of the unit, removed the damaged cabinets and hood, and cleaned every surface with smoke-specific cleaning agents before repainting. We coordinated directly with the landlord’s insurance adjuster and the tenant was back to cooking in the rebuilt kitchen just under four weeks after the fire.
Hardwood Floor Drying After a Washing Machine Overflow

An older washing machine in a second-floor closet overflowed and sent water across the hallway and into the living room’s oak flooring. Many restoration companies would have torn the floor out immediately. We used an Injectidry system with floor mats placed directly on the wood, which pulls moisture out through the plank surface and allows the wood to dry in place. The floors cupped slightly for a few weeks as they dried, then settled back flat. The homeowner kept their original floors, and the total cost came in well under what a full replacement would have run.
Sewage Backup Cleanup in a Finished Laundry Room

The city sewer main backed up during a heavy storm and pushed sewage into a finished laundry room through the floor drain. This is one of the few jobs where we tell homeowners to stay out of the space entirely until we’ve completed proper decontamination. We removed the affected drywall and vinyl flooring, cleaned and disinfected the concrete slab, and ran our drying equipment until moisture readings confirmed the room was ready for rebuild. New drywall, fresh paint, and updated flooring went in, and the room is back to handling laundry instead of standing water.
Attic Mold Remediation After Poor Ventilation

An older New York, NY home with a poorly vented attic started growing mold on the roof sheathing, and the homeowner noticed the black spots during a routine insulation check. We removed the contaminated insulation, treated the wood framing and sheathing, and worked with the homeowner to improve the attic’s airflow before installing new insulation. The attic now stays dry year-round. Carl Brandt walked the homeowner through the before and after photos himself so they could see exactly where the mold had spread and how the correction addressed the root cause, not just the stains.
